Pure Honey

Experience the Sweetness of Pure, All-Natural Honey

My Promise

McComBees honey is sourced exclusively from the apiaries owned and managed by McComBees Apiaries. Only honey produced by these colonies is sold, and it is never adulterated. Because the honey is not pasteurized, its natural floral aromas and distinctive varietal character are preserved. Keeping the honey at or slightly above hive temperature maintains the antioxidants, enzymes, and nutrients that support overall health.

Raw  Honey - Definition

While there is no official U.S. federal definition of raw honey, the National Honey Board defines raw honey as “honey as it exists in the beehive or as obtained by extraction, settling, or straining without adding heat.”

Organic Honey  - The Truth

As of 2021, US honey cannot be certified organic by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). Any honey labeled "Certified Organic" sold in the United States is imported from other countries and certified organic by that country.

The USDA has no standard for organic honey and, therefore, US-derived honey cannot be legally labeled as USDA organic.

Bottom Line

McComBees Apiaries produces high-quality, natural, raw honey products at a reasonable price. All honey is sourced exclusively from the apiary’s own colonies, and every effort is made to preserve its natural state. As a result, the honey remains as close to unfiltered and raw as practical.
