IQBA Virgin Queen

Purchase Indiana bred & adapted virgin queen bees

Virgin queens offer strong value at less than half the cost of a mated queen. A virgin queen has not yet mated with drones and is an effective option for colonies that can no longer produce a viable queen but still have brood present. They are also a practical choice when multiple colonies require requeening.

Virgin queens may be directly released or introduced in a cage, similar to a mated queen. Eggs are typically observed 10–21 days after introduction. Because virgin queens are time-sensitive, they should be installed as soon as possible after pickup.
