McComBees honey is 100% derived from my apiaries. I only sell honey products that are created from my bees. Nothing has been added or removed from the honey. Natural floral flavors and scents are retained in the honey because it is not pasteurized. This allows the beneficial antioxidants, enzymes, and nutrients to remain intact.
Raw Honey - Definition
While there is no official U.S. federal definition of raw honey, the National Honey Board defines raw honey as “Honey as it exists in the beehive or as obtained by extraction, settling or straining without adding heat.”
Organic Honey - The Truth
As of 2021, honey cannot be certified organic by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). Any honey labeled "Certified Organic" sold in the United States is imported from other countries and certified organic by that country.
The USDA has no standard for organic honey and therefore US derived honey can not be legally labeled USDA organic.
I produce quality, natural, raw honey products at a fair price. I do my best to preserve the original state of the honey. In doing so the honey is as close to raw and unprocessed as realistically attainable.
